Information Regarding Passwords

In response to feedback from our site users we have developed a new feature for changing passwords. User names remain the same but you can replace your randomly generated password with something easier to remember. Just click on the change password link at the top of the page.

There are different types of passwords on this site. The generic department password is used by the clinical and technical leads when entering or altering information about the department. There are also individual passwords for the echocardiographers taking the QA modules. The QA lead for each department has a 'special' individual password allowing them access to the QA tests performed by their team and to allow them to upload audit and meeting information.

The department login for the clinical and technical leads to use has a user name such as 'St_Peters_Hospital' with a new easy-to-remember department password to chosen and set by the leads.

There are individual logins eg 'jbloggs' for the echocardiographers taking the QA tests using the individual passwords they chose for themselves.

The QA lead has a 'special' QA login with an individual password giving them enhanced access to aspects of the QA module. There is only one QA lead login and password for each department.

If you forget any password just click the forgotten password link at the top of the page. You will be emailed a new randomly generated password which you can change to something easier to remember using the change password link. However, if you forget your department login or your individual login you will need to contact the BSE office on dept@bsecho.org

Please remember that the passwords for this departmental accreditation site are NOT the same as those used on the main BSE site.
